Being based in Rochester, NY has presented many opportunities for growth in collaboration as the community is rich with talent and entrepreneurs looking to build their portfolios and network with others.

' WERK ' explained:
With the goal to really capture the essence of what it has felt like for me to be in full work mode this year, I was inspired to put together a photoshoot that would feel relevant, artistic and still convey the 'chaotic-good' energy that comes with creating a new career path.
Channeling the groovy retro vibe of the ‘80s with makeup and clothing choices, I aimed to callback to the boldness embraced in entrepreneurship as a woman both in that era and in the present-day alike.
Props, setting and lighting were carefully chosen in order to create a tone of a sort of 'organized chaos'. The serious expression in the image is meant to convey that although the workload is heavy, no challenge is too intimidating for me: the creative, the professional paving her own way.
